Kwara APC gov candidate accuses Senator’s loyalists of mayhem

THE political strain in Kwara State in front of the decisions, yesterday, thickened as the governorship competitor of All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, asserted that political hooligans working for a best lawmaker in the state and a Senator, on Sunday, killed one of his supporters, injured 50 others and vandalized 30 vehicles.

He approached the Police to capture seven hooligans (names retained) supposedly behind the assaults. At a preparation, Abdulrazaq, encompassed by gathering chieftains, different hopefuls, associates and supporters, stated: “The revolting episode executed by surely understood raiders and specialists of the congressperson happened at about 12noon, while APC individuals from Ilorin West and their companions from different parts of Ilorin city accumulated for their gathering rally with the end goal of sharpening APC individuals on the imminent general race.

In the interim, Kwara State Resident Electoral Commi-ssioner, REC, Malam Garba Attahiru-Madami, has communicated worry over later political viciousness in the state. Attahiru-Madami, who talked at an intelligent session with conventional rulers in the state, yesterday in Ilorin, spoke to them to instruct their subjects on the need to keep up harmony amid and after the general races.
