Abubakar Bala, Kwara United Coach says his wards are ready for the test Insurance will pose during the Nigeria Professional Football League match day 4 clash on Wednesday in Benin.
He said, he was looking forward to the match because it would give him an insight on the team’s standing after the victory over Enyimba.
The ex-Tornados gaffer admitted that his backroom staff had gathered some technical reports on Bendel Insurance during the National League Super Eight and had been working on them.
Bala said: “We had to send one of our technical assistants to see practically how they are set up and he came with verbal and written reports about them.
“The reason behind this move was to get information because they were not in the top flight before.”
Bala also responded to claims that his team had always gone behind in their previous games.
He said: “Every match has its own mystery, but we are not happy going behind in the early part of our games.
“We have done a lot of video analysis on our previous games where we discovered loss of concentration and not taking our chances.
“But we are seriously working to arrest the situation.”
The coach, however, called on sports loving Kwarans to keep praying and supporting the state’s darling team in their quest to secure a continental ticket at the end of the season.
Similarly, the club’s skipper, Akeem Onigbari, said the players were in the right frame of mind ahead of the game.
Onigbari said: “We are battle ready for this fixture. The last game against Enyimba was a turning point for us, so we have the feel good factor.
“With good and fair officiating, we have no reason to leave Benin empty handed because we have really prepared well for this.”
