The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), in collaboration with the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC), is gearing up to host the 2025 Nigeria Manufacturing and Equipment Expo (NME) alongside the Nigerian Raw Materials Expo (NIRAM).
The twin expos are scheduled to take place from August 5 to 7, 2025, at the Federal Palace Hotel, Balmoral Hall, Victoria Island, Lagos under the theme: “Accelerating Sustainable Manufacturing through Cutting-edge Technology Solutions.”
President of MAN, Franchise Meshioye, stated that the 2025 event aims to bring together stakeholders across the manufacturing value chain to explore how advanced technology can be used to enhance efficiency, resilience, and sustainability in Nigeria’s manufacturing landscape.
“The theme is designed to drive stakeholder engagement on the transformative power of innovative technologies to improve local manufacturing processes and product quality,” Meshioye said.
Key focus areas of the upcoming expo will include:
- Deployment of energy-efficient solutions in production facilities
- Implementation of smart factory technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Waste reduction through closed-loop systems and advanced recycling methods
- Partnerships with green tech innovators to develop scalable, sustainable production solutions
The expo is expected to attract local and international participants, including manufacturers, policymakers, innovators, and environmental advocates, all committed to pushing Nigeria’s industrial sector into a technology-driven future.
