Dangote salt Rewards 50 Customers with Trucks, Cash at 2025 Awards Night

NASCON Allied Industries Plc, also known as Dangote Salt, has rewarded 50 outstanding customers with trucks and cash gifts worth billions of naira in recognition of their loyalty and commitment to promoting its products.

The company disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, noting that the distributors and customers were honoured at its 2025 Customers Dinner and Awards Night held in Abuja on Thursday.

The event was attended by Africa’s foremost industrialist and President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, as well as the Group Vice President, Olakunle Alake.

NASCON, a subsidiary of Dangote Industries Limited, is a Nigerian manufacturer of refined salt and Dangote Classic Seasonings.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dangote said the Customer Awards Night publicly reflects the company’s core value of customer service and aligns with its vision of becoming a world-class consumer goods company.

“Recognizing customers is not just good relationship management – it is good business. It sends a clear message to our people that customer service is truly one of our core values,” he said.

He added that the company would continue investing in brand equity, supply chain efficiency, sustainability and digital capabilities, stressing that such investments only create value when aligned with customer realities.

Also speaking, Board Chairman of NASCON and Vice President of Dangote Group, Olakunle Alake, described customer service as a strategic asset.

“As a quoted company, we are accountable to shareholders, regulators and the investing public. But the confidence of the market is ultimately rooted in market performance, and market performance depends on customers who believe in our brands,” he said.

The newly appointed Group Executive Director of Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals, Fatima Aliko Dangote, thanked customers for their loyalty and trust, noting that their support has been central to the company’s growth.

Similarly, Mariya Aliko Dangote, Group Executive Director, Commercial (Cement and Foods), said the company’s success is built on sustained partnership and feedback from customers.

Managing Director of NASCON, Aderemi Saka, said the awards night was organised to celebrate customers whose growth and prosperity are closely tied to the company’s performance.

Speaking on behalf of the awardees, Ali Balarabe, who received a 20-ton truck and cash credit, commended the company’s leadership for its recognition and pledged continued loyalty.

Other recipients of truckload awards and cash credits included Alhaji Ibrahim Achida, Muabsa Integrated Services, Fanisau Enterprises, Idris Saleh Nigeria Limited, Sani Adamu Trader and GIA Global Concept.

The company said the initiative underscores its commitment to strengthening partnerships and sustaining market leadership in Nigeria’s consumer goods sector.
