Zenith Bank has partnered with Visa to introduce the Visa Signature Card, a premium payment product tailored to meet the lifestyle and financial needs of affluent customers.
Speaking at the official unveiling in Lagos, Emmanuel Oladimeji, General Manager of the Retail Group at Zenith Bank, said the initiative reinforces the bank’s commitment to delivering specialised services to high-value individuals.
According to Oladimeji, the collaboration with Visa marks a deeper engagement with globally mobile customers who require seamless payment solutions and lifestyle support across borders.
“The Visa Signature Card represents a significant step forward in how we connect with our customers, especially those who prioritise convenience and international mobility,” he said.
Also speaking at the event, Seun Adaramola, Director of Marketing at Visa, explained that the product was developed following extensive research into the lifestyle patterns of affluent consumers. He noted that the card is designed to cater to both international travel needs and everyday spending habits.
“This product reflects how affluent customers live — they travel frequently, shop globally, and value premium experiences even at home,” Adaramola stated.
The Visa Signature Card offers a wide range of benefits, including access to premium airport lounges, travel-related services, and exclusive discounts through Visa’s global merchant network. The offering aims to bridge the gap between domestic and international payment advantages.
Providing further insight, Celestina Appeal, Assistant General Manager and Head of Card Services at Zenith Bank, defined the bank’s target audience for the product. She stated that affluent customers are individuals with a financial turnover of N25 million and above, typically characterised by high spending capacity and a preference for premium, convenient services.
Appeal also outlined the bank’s structured progression for customers within its card ecosystem, noting that users can move from gold to platinum, then to the Visa Signature, and ultimately to the elite Visa Infinite tier.
The launch underscores Zenith Bank’s strategy to strengthen its position in the premium banking segment while enhancing customer experience through innovative financial solutions.
