Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a further reduction in the gantry price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol, from N1,175 to N1,125 per litre.
The latest price adjustment reflects the refinery’s continued commitment to improving fuel affordability, maintaining price stability, and supporting Nigeria’s energy security objectives.
According to the company, the reduction demonstrates its responsiveness to prevailing market conditions and its determination to pass on cost savings to downstream partners and consumers.
The refinery said the move is part of its broader strategy to enhance access to affordable petroleum products while strengthening the domestic fuel supply chain.
Dangote Refinery noted that it remains committed to contributing to Nigeria’s economic growth by increasing fuel availability and promoting a more competitive and sustainable petroleum sector.
The company added that its ongoing efforts are aimed at improving efficiency across the downstream value chain while supporting national energy security through increased local refining capacity.
The latest price cut is expected to provide some relief to fuel marketers and consumers as the refinery continues to adjust prices in line with market realities.
