Ardova Plc, one of Nigeria’s leading integrated energy companies, has been awarded the ISO 27001:2022 Certification, the world’s foremost standard for information security management systems (ISMS). The certification underscores the company’s commitment to safeguarding customer and staff data through internationally recognized best practices.
The certification followed a rigorous audit process evaluating Ardova Plc’s policies, procedures, and technical controls for information security. The process, led by the Technology and Digital Department under Mr. Kamil Adebumola, and guided by Cyberstage Systems Ltd, involved multiple phases of assessment and system strengthening across departments handling sensitive data.
In a brief ceremony at Ardova’s head office, Cyberstage Systems officially presented the ISO 27001 certificate to the company. The event was attended by the Managing Director, Group Financial Controller, Head of Digital and Analytics, and representatives from various teams responsible for data management and protection.
