Africa Women Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF), has empowered 28 young African entrepeneurs to take their businesses to the next level..
They graduated after a10-week e-commerce training with a lot of success stories.
One of the Enterpreneuris, Amanda Kandawire was a pilot at Emirates, but due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, she was grounded.
She soon adapted to the change and saw the opportunity as a chance to start her own business. “Today, Amanda Kandawire transformed from a pilot to successful entrepreneur. “
She is an AWIEF alumni – graduated from the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE 2020) – and now runs two companies: one that sells her art prints and art-curated products and the other company she founded exposes young girls to the world of Aviation.
AWIEF has continued to organize innovative programmes to educate, promote businesses , IT /tech of her community.
