The Central Securities Clearing System Plc (CSCS), Nigeria’s capital market infrastructure, has joined the global community in marking Customer Service Week 2025, themed “Mission: Possible.”
The theme highlights resilience, innovation, and dedication to customer satisfaction — values that remain central to CSCS’s mission of transforming Nigeria’s capital market through technology and trust.
This year’s celebration reflects CSCS’s continuous commitment to exceptional service delivery, leveraging digital innovation to enhance efficiency and accessibility for market participants.
In 2025, the organization introduced several technology-driven upgrades, including:
- RegConnect Version 2: an enhanced registrar platform with real-time data validation, omnichannel transaction support, and API integration.
- Custodian Portal: a secure and user-friendly interface for managing portfolios, tracking documents, and processing share transfers.
- *USSD Code Service (7270#): launched in partnership with MTN Nigeria, this service enables investors to check balances, stock positions, and Direct Cash Settlement (DCS) status without internet access.
Speaking on the occasion, Haruna Jalo-Waziri, MD/CEO of CSCS Plc, expressed gratitude to customers and employees for their unwavering trust and dedication.
“It’s with a heart full of gratitude that I thank you for being who you are: our most valuable stakeholder. Our impressive achievements are only made possible by your faith in our mission to revolutionize the Nigerian capital market,” he said.
Jalo-Waziri also commended his colleagues for their commitment to service excellence.
“As we celebrate our esteemed customers, I want to also appreciate my colleagues, whose empathy and dedication to go the extra mile continue to make real positive changes in serving our customers and the market at large,” he added.
The Customer Service Week serves as a reminder of CSCS’s customer-first philosophy and an opportunity to recognize the efforts of its workforce in ensuring seamless clearing, settlement, and market access for millions of investors.
As the Nigerian capital market prepares to transition to a T+2 settlement cycle in November 2025, CSCS reaffirmed its commitment to delivering world-class services, enhancing investor confidence, and driving innovation that makes the impossible, possible.
