Lafarge Africa Plc has reported a landmark revenue of ₦1.1 trillion for 2025, marking a 53% increase from ₦696.8 billion recorded in 2024. Profit After Tax (PAT) soared by 173% to ₦273 billion, up from ₦100.1 billion the previous year, driven by volume-led growth, operational efficiency, and disciplined cost management.
Operating profit grew to ₦392 billion, representing a 103% increase from ₦193 billion in 2024, while earnings per share jumped from ₦6.22 to ₦17, highlighting the company’s robust financial momentum.
Commenting on the results, Lolu Alade-Akinyemi said, “Our Full Year 2025 results are a testament of the effectiveness of our 4-point strategy, disciplined execution, and relentless focus on value creation. Reaching the ₦1 trillion Net Sales threshold marks a historic turning point for our Company.”
Looking ahead, the company plans to expand its Ashaka Plant in Gombe State to 2 million tonnes per annum (MT) and its Sagamu Plant in Ogun State to 3.5MT, bringing total capacity to 14MT. The CEO emphasized that sustainability, operational scale, and strategic clarity will continue to underpin long-term growth and shareholder value.
Lafarge Africa’s outlook for 2026 focuses on enhancing capacity utilization, embedding sustainability, and maintaining industry-leading health and safety performance while pursuing market volume opportunities and cost optimization.
