LG Electronics (LG) has unveiled a comprehensive lineup of AI-powered home solutions tailored for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) at LG InnoFest 2026 MEA, holding in Abu Dhabi from February 3 to 5.
Held under the theme “Innovation, Forward Together,” the exhibition highlights LG’s latest innovations across clothing care, kitchen appliances, built-in kitchen solutions and total cleaning systems, with strong emphasis on user-centric design and regional relevance.
Returning after a seven-year hiatus, LG InnoFest is the company’s flagship regional event for key partners and the media. Designed as a “festival” celebrating innovation, collaboration and LG’s Life’s Good philosophy, InnoFest 2026 MEA underscores the company’s long-term commitment to, and growing footprint in, MEA markets.
As part of efforts to strengthen its residential laundry portfolio in the region, LG introduced appliances that combine larger capacities, premium aesthetics and proprietary AI Core-Tech. The new lineup delivers smarter and more efficient washing and drying through features such as AI Wash and AI Dry.
Leading the showcase is the award-winning 29-inch LG SIGNATURE WashCombo™, a premium all-in-one washer-dryer boasting the world’s largest capacity. LG also expanded its WashTower™ lineup with a new 25-inch model, complementing existing 24-inch and 27-inch versions to suit more installation environments. The WashTower integrates a washer and dryer into a single vertical structure for improved usability and space efficiency.
Making its debut at InnoFest, the new 27-inch WashCombo™ targets larger households with a 25-kilogram washing capacity and 21-kilogram drying capacity. Powered by LG’s DUAL Inverter HeatPump™ technology, the model delivers stable drying performance and improved energy efficiency. Also on display is a new front-load washer featuring a sleek flat design, integrated LCD display and LG’s AI Direct Drive™ (AI DD™) motor, which optimizes washing based on fabric type and load weight.
Building on its expertise in residential laundry, LG also showcased commercial laundry solutions featuring app- and API-based platforms that enable remote monitoring and management for partners.
Under the “Fit & Max” concept, LG’s kitchen appliances focus on built-in aesthetics and intelligent functionality. In the refrigerator category, the LG InstaView™ French Door model features a Zero Clearance hinge for seamless kitchen integration, alongside AI Fresh technology that optimizes cooling based on usage patterns. A new bottom-freezer model also incorporates the Zero Clearance hinge and a modern minimalist design. LG said the lineup reinforces its position as the No.1 refrigerator brand in the MEA region.
A major highlight of the cooking appliance showcase is the redesigned SolarDOM™ All-in-One Microwave Oven, receiving its first full makeover in over a decade. The new version adopts a semi-built-in design, replaces physical buttons with a 2.4-inch LCD interface, and offers up to 60 Auto Cook menus, including Air Fry. Wi-Fi connectivity allows remote control via the LG ThinQ app.
LG’s latest dishwasher lineup introduces QuadWash® Pro, which uses micro-scale air bubble jets to enhance cleaning performance and reduce wash times. The AI SenseClean feature automatically adjusts wash and rinse cycles based on dirt levels, while the upgraded 1-Hour Wash & Dry function enables a full cycle in as little as 39 minutes.
Targeting the premium kitchen segment, LG’s built-in collection offers larger capacity solutions with minimalist design. The Wide Combi built-in refrigerator has been expanded to 690mm in width, increasing capacity to 385 liters. The Inverter ProBake™ built-in oven ensures faster and more even cooking through a BLDC motor-driven bidirectional fan.
The exhibition also features LG’s total cleaning solutions, including a Wet & Dry stick vacuum with automatic water supply and a new robot vacuum offering 100-degree Celsius steam mopping, paired with a compact, table-type station featuring a concealed design.
Speaking at the event, Hyoung Sub Ji, President of LG West Africa Subsidiary, said the company remains focused on delivering locally optimized solutions across the region.
“LG is committed to delivering user-centric, locally optimized solutions that make everyday life more convenient for customers across the Middle East and Africa. Through continuous innovation and meaningful partnerships, we aim to create lasting value and shared growth in this dynamic region,” he said.
