Digital bank PalmPay and Premier Cool have launched a nationwide consumer promotion offering a total of N100 million in cash rewards, as brands increasingly deploy incentive-led campaigns to stimulate household spending amid prevailing economic pressures.
The promotion, tagged “10K for 10K,” will reward 10,000 Nigerians with N10,000 each, paid instantly into PalmPay wallets. The campaign runs from January 12 to April 11, 2026, with 111 winners expected to emerge daily over the three-month period.
Premier Cool, an antibacterial cooling bar soap brand under PZ Cussons Africa, said the initiative is designed to ease financial strain on consumers while deepening brand loyalty.
Speaking at the launch in Lagos, the Managing Director of PZ Cussons Africa, Oghale Elueni, said the promotion reflects the company’s response to the current economic climate.
“At a time when financial pressure is real for many households, this promo is our way of easing the load and refreshing Nigerians, emotionally and financially, with a brand they already know and trust,” Elueni said.
To participate, consumers are required to purchase a promo-coded 110-gram pack of Premier Cool, either the Ultimate or Black variant. Participants then scan a QR code on the pack to access the campaign microsite and PalmPay app, where they enter a unique code for an instant draw. Successful participants receive N10,000 immediately in their PalmPay wallets.
PalmPay said new users who join the campaign will also enjoy a welcome bonus of up to N5,550, as part of its strategy to drive wider adoption of its digital banking services.
The Managing Director of PalmPay Nigeria, Chika Nwosu, said the collaboration aligns with the fintech company’s focus on delivering practical financial value to everyday users.
“By partnering with a brand that families have trusted for decades, we are reinforcing our promise of smarter banking that supports daily living, saving, and financial growth,” Nwosu said.
The promotion highlights a growing trend of partnerships between consumer goods companies and fintech platforms, combining physical retail distribution with digital payment solutions to boost engagement and advance financial inclusion.
Premier Cool said the campaign builds on its strong presence in Nigerian homes by pairing freshness and hygiene with tangible consumer rewards. PalmPay, on its part, continues to expand its footprint in Nigeria through mobile payments, savings, micro-insurance, and an extensive agent network.
Both companies noted that the promotion is open to consumers nationwide, with instant payouts designed to promote transparency and build consumer confidence.
