The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has distributed a total of N2.094 trillion to the federal, state and local governments as allocation for October 2025.

The disbursement was made on Wednesday during the committee’s monthly meeting in Abuja. According to a statement issued by Mohammed Manga, Director of Information and Public Relations at the Federal Ministry of Finance, the shared funds came from a gross total of N2.934 trillion generated in the month of October.

The revenue breakdown showed that:

  • Gross Statutory Revenue contributed N1.376 trillion
  • Value Added Tax (VAT) generated N670.303 billion
  • Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) accounted for N47.870 billion

This brought the total distributable revenue for the month to N2.094 trillion, as contained in the communique issued at the end of the meeting chaired by the Accountant General of the Federation, Shamsudeen Ogunjimi.

From the allocation:

  • The Federal Government received N758.405 billion
  • States received N689.120 billion
  • Local Government Councils received N505.803 billion
  • Oil-producing states received N141.395 billion as 13% derivation from mineral revenue.

The disbursement continues the government’s monthly commitment to ensuring revenue transparency and equitable sharing among all tiers of government.
