Aimed at nurturing as well as grooming students to become future global leaders, where ‘’no child is left behind”, founders of the Bijamic School Badore Ajah Lagos seem to be leaving up to its Mantra as the school recently marked its 10th year anniversary and graduation ceremony since inception.
Mrs Abiola Chinyere Jane, Co- founder and Educational Development Director, made the remark while addressing stakeholders at the event with theme “Total Transformation”,maintained that”we have achieve a lot academically, morally and totally with positive rebranding and school transformation”.
The elated Mrs Abiola, disclosed that the COVID 19 Pandemic last year had affected the end of year session convocation and graduation ceremony. Today, we are celebrating of our end of 2020 / 2021 academic session.
She advised students to strive for excellence and remain focused in their academic pursuit.
Abiola observed that globally young people effect the society, adding that biggest changes happen when youths refuse to give up. She advised the 25 graduating students to be of good behavior, maintain reading habits and law abiding.
Speaking at the event Mr. Adeyemi Adebayo, Director Public Private Partnership, Lagos State Ministry of Education disclosed that Lagos state government has continued to spearhead the empowerment of global teachers and pupils in public schools; aspires to be a 21st century economy to build the quality workforce needed for the future.
He appealed to parents and school authorities to embrace the digital economy and never raise children in the old fashion style, since they are breeds of the 21st century and need digital orientations for future digital jobs.
Adebayo lauded the state government’s plan of supporting private partnership and digital education to meet the COVID 19 standards. Adding that the Lagos state is committed to equality, closing the gap between the rich and the poor by ensuring access to quality education for all children.
There is no discrimination for any citizens of the state on education. According to him, education reform programmes have successfully developed for highly skilled teachers by training; supporting and motivating them to succeed in their classrooms and beyond.
Also speaking at the event, Director Bijamic schools, Mr. Abiola Bolarinwa, recalled that school started 10 year ago with just 3 pupils to over 300 and a multitude now, we give God praise for the grace.He also lauded the Parents / teachers association members for supporting the school over the years, during the pre and post pandemic periods.
Bolarinwa also appreciated the professional teachers and non – teaching staff who have worked with us over the years and till date. We are also rewarding all graduating students, long time staff, supporting parents and stakeholders with prizes and plaques.
