LG Electronics, CleanAce Partner to Boost Fabricare Industry with Hyper Masterclass Conference

LG Electronics Nigeria and CleanAce Foundation & Academy have partnered to energise Nigeria’s fabricare and dry cleaning industry with the Hyper Masterclass Conference, themed “Making Audacious Moves in 2026.”

The conference, targeted at members of the Fabricare Professionals and Drycleaners Association (FDPA), delivered cutting-edge insights and practical strategies aimed at inspiring industry players to embrace bold decisions and drive the sector’s evolution.

According to a statement, the event, which culminated in a gala and awards night, attracted top industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and government representatives. The Lagos State Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Honourable Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe, was represented by the Director of Entrepreneurship Development, Mrs. Abiose Taiwo, who delivered a goodwill message on behalf of the ministry.

She reaffirmed the Lagos State Government’s commitment to supporting professional bodies such as the FDPA in wealth creation and employment generation for residents of the state.

In his opening remarks, the Founder of CleanAce Foundation & Academy, Mr. Eniibukun Adebayo, described the theme as timely, stressing that bold business decisions must be guided by knowledge and clarity.

“Making audacious moves isn’t about recklessness, it’s courage guided by wisdom. Our industry stands at a crossroads of opportunity and responsibility. This masterclass was designed to empower professionals with the clarity, knowledge, and confidence to make bold decisions in 2026, decisions anchored in understanding, not fear,” Adebayo said.

LG Electronics’ Head of Commercial Laundry Business, Nigeria, Mr. Samuel Odenusi, highlighted the importance of investing in reliable and high-performing equipment to build customer trust and improve profitability.

“Clients judge a business by its tools, and LG is proud to support the industry with technology that delivers efficiency and dependability,” he noted.

Delivering the keynote address, Dr. Olakunle Iyanda, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Broot Consulting, challenged participants to take proactive steps in positioning their businesses for growth.

“Move first, learn fast, and win early,” he advised, urging business owners to plug “trust leaks” in their operations. “When clients trust you, everything else gets easier. Be honest, be clear, and let your team in on the dream,” he added.

The conference also featured practical sessions on critical issues expected to shape the industry in 2026. These included new tax regulations, presented by Mr. Abriel Akinlolu of Fin-Goal Consulting, and risk management strategies led by Mr. Peter Ajagunna of Temple Insurance Brokers Ltd. Participants were equipped with tools for compliance, resilience, and sustainable growth.

The event concluded with a gala and awards ceremony that recognised excellence across the fabricare and dry cleaning industry. Awards were presented in categories such as public service, leadership, discipline, and professional contribution, underscoring the sector’s commitment to quality, professionalism, and community impact.
