WorldStage Limited has announced that the second quarter edition of its WorldStage Business Forum 2026 will hold on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the LCCI-BOI Innovation Hub in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
The event, scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m., will feature the public presentation of the WorldStage Nigeria’s Economic Report Q1 2026, providing insights into the country’s economic performance and outlook.
According to a statement issued by the organisation, the forum will be held under the theme, “Nigeria’s Corporate Culture and Global Standard.”
The Chief Executive Officer of Business School Netherlands International, Prof. Lere Baale, will deliver the keynote address as the Guest Speaker.
Baale, who is also the President of the Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy, is recognised for his contributions to healthcare policy and Nigeria’s digital economy. He has consistently advocated innovative healthcare financing models and stronger collaboration among banks, fintech companies, telecommunications firms and regulators to build a trusted digital economy.
The organisers also confirmed several special guests, including the Lagos State Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Hon. Mosopefoluwa George; the Director-General of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Sola Obadimu; and the President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Chief Emeka Obegolu (SAN).
The special guests are expected to deliver goodwill messages and share perspectives on the current state of Nigeria’s economy.
Also confirmed as panelists are the President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), Eze Anaba, and the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Henryj Valeens, Dr. Ejike Ndiulo.
WorldStage said the quarterly business forum was established to provide stakeholders with insights into emerging economic trends, challenges and opportunities while creating a platform for interaction between business leaders, policymakers and the media.
The organisation noted that discussions at the forum are expected to generate recommendations that will contribute to Nigeria’s economic development.
It recalled that the President of NACCIMA, Engr. Jani Ibrahim, served as the guest speaker at the first quarter 2026 edition of the forum, where the WorldStage Nigeria’s Macroeconomic Outlook 2026 was unveiled.
Speaking on the forthcoming report, the President and Chief Executive Officer of WorldStage, Segun Adeleye, said the 196-page WorldStage Nigeria’s Economic Report Q1 2026, titled “Promising,” provides an in-depth analysis of Nigeria’s macroeconomic environment.
According to him, the report examines key economic indicators, including gross domestic product (GDP) growth, inflation, exchange rates, monetary policy and regulatory developments.
He added that the publication also contains sectoral analyses covering oil and gas, agriculture, manufacturing, banking, insurance and the capital market.
Adeleye said the report features contributions from industry experts, including Dr. Muda Yusuf, Sea Empowerment & Research Center (SEREC), Sam Caulcrick, Dr. Joy Ogaji, ESV. Olufemi Adedamola Oyedele and Luna Bawa.
He expressed satisfaction with the growing interest generated by the organisation’s economic outlook reports, noting that several regulators have indicated their willingness to collaborate on future quarterly publications.
The forum is expected to attract key stakeholders from government, regulatory agencies, the private sector and the media to discuss strategies for strengthening Nigeria’s economic growth and competitiveness.
