No fewer than 1,300 less privileged persons have lauded the gestures for Food Clique and Noella Foundations (Non- Governmental Organizations) for putting smile on their faces to keep healthy and alive through food donations.
The beneficiaries in Awoyokun Onipanu and Ebute Metta communitiese Lagos, had a swell time from the largess of these non- governmental organizations.
According of them, they observed that the FoodClique and Noella Foundations provided daily meals at Awoyokun Onipanu and Ebute Metta for those struggling with hunger.
They appreciated the foundations for the distribution of food boxes containing Non -Perishable Food Items and hot meals to the low income families during the last concluded Ramadan festival at Awoyokun Onipanu and Ebute Metta.
Earlier on Mr.Bolajoko Fadipe, Founder FoodClique recounted during the last Muslim festival, he said “after providing daily meals and distribution of food boxes to various communities all through the festival to help cushion the effect of pandemic for over one year, many families still need help and are not certain of how they would celebrate after the festival. ‘’
And as such, it is important that organizations such as Food Clique and Noella come out to put smiles on the faces of People that do not know where their next meal is coming from.
Fadipe also used the opportunity to thank hundreds of Nigerians who donated money, food items, volunteered all through the month of the festival to help with food boxes and preparing the daily meals which is another proof that Nigerians are very kind and generous people who are willing to assist in reducing food insecurity.
Fadipe maintained that although the festival might have come to an end but hunger lasts beyond festivals, and as such FoodClique will be unrelenting with helping the less privileged through their other programs such as Free School Meal, Family Meal, Senior meals programs and Mobile Food Pantry.
Mr. Seyi Tinubu , Founder Noella Foundation, in his contribution said “it is our yearly tradition to provide meals to fasting Mulsims volunteer to help out at the venue and this intervention has been very helpful to the less privileged “
