Heirs Insurance Launches Multi-Language AI Assistant ‘Prince AI’ to Transform Customer Experience

Heirs Insurance Group, Nigeria’s fastest-growing insurance group, has launched a multi-language generative AI assistant known as Prince AI, in what it describes as a major step in its digital transformation journey.

The launch comes as the company approaches its fifth anniversary, marking years of innovation focused on simplifying insurance, improving accessibility, and enhancing customer experience across Nigeria.

With the introduction of Prince AI, the company becomes the first insurer in Nigeria to deploy a multi-language generative AI assistant, setting a new standard for digital engagement in the insurance industry.

The AI-powered assistant is designed to respond instantly to customer enquiries, provide guidance on insurance products, help users assess their needs, and recommend suitable policies. It also supports broader insurance-related questions beyond the company’s offerings.

Prince AI is built with strong accessibility features and communicates in multiple languages, including English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, and others, aimed at breaking language barriers in financial services.

The platform also allows customers to purchase and renew policies, as well as initiate and track claims through digital channels.

According to the company, the AI assistant is available on WhatsApp, the SimpleLife Mobile App, and the Heirs Insurance website, offering 24/7 customer support across platforms.

Speaking on the development, Peace Okhianmhense-Philips, Chief Digital Officer of Heirs Insurance Group, said the innovation represents a new phase in the company’s digital evolution.

“Prince AI represents the next phase of our digital evolution. By embedding generative AI into our customer experience, we are not only improving speed and efficiency but also humanising insurance,” she said.

She added that the system is designed to continuously learn from interactions, improving accuracy and relevance over time, while still allowing customers access to human agents when needed.

Heirs Insurance Group, part of Heirs Holdings, operates through Heirs General Insurance Limited, Heirs Life Assurance Limited, and Heirs Insurance Brokers, serving both retail and corporate customers across Nigeria.

The company says the initiative reinforces its commitment to financial inclusion and its broader goal of democratising access to insurance through technology.
