Lagos Free Trade Zone has unveiled Irele Tower, a nine-storey development delivering approximately 12,000 square metres of office and retail space, further expanding commercial capacity along the growing Lekki corridor.
The building is EDGE-certified by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), incorporating sustainable measures that reduce energy consumption by 26% and water usage by 46% compared to conventional structures, while improving indoor environmental quality for occupiers.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu highlighted that Irele Tower aligns with Lagos State’s infrastructure-led growth strategy, supporting industrialisation, job creation, and economic diversification within the zone.
Managing Director of Lagos Free Zone Company, Adesuwa Ladoja, noted that the tower meets rising demand from local and international firms seeking proximity to ports, logistics hubs, and industrial infrastructure.
Yemisi Edun, MD/CEO of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), emphasized the bank’s early support for the project as a demonstration of confidence in the long-term growth of the zone and the benefits of coordinated financing and development.
The launch of Irele Tower expands the Lagos Free Trade Zone’s commercial footprint while promoting sustainable building practices and positioning the corridor as a prime destination for business investment in Nigeria.
